Universal Orlando Resort – Travel Guide (Part VII, Lost Continent)

Continuing counterclockwise, we come to our final area of Universal Studios Florida Resort, Islands of Adventure (IOA), “Lost Continent.”  The truth is, there isn’t a whole lot to do here aside from looking at the exterior of Poseidon’s Fury.  If you are hungry, and want to invest the time in a sit-down meal, the Mythos Restaurant is rumored to be exceptional.

Poseidon’s Fury – 0 minutes

If there is no line at all, and you can walk right in, this MIGHT be worthwhile.  But even with no wait, I still think it’s a waste of time.  And be careful….A LOT of line is inside.  After we stood for about 90 minutes, we finally got in.  It was basically a show, which took place in several different “rooms,” and we had to stand the whole time (after already standing 90 minutes in line!)  No ride…basically a waste of time, which was especially disappointing because the outside was so incredible looking.

Walk clockwise now, back through the Lost Continent and Seuss Landing, to the Port of Entry (or, Port of Exit, in this case.)  And exit.  Turn left, and walk over to the entrance to Universal Studios.
